Choose Your Favourite Topic
When you start blogging the main thing you should keep in mind to choose a topic that is suitable for you. Suitable means you feel comfortable to write. you should choice a topic that excites you. If you write without any goal you will not get energy to write. Your writing will must show a sense of energy. So it will attract readers.
Again if you want to be a reputed blogger you must keep on blogging, and won't abandon your blog after a few days or weeks.
Use Informal Tone
Blogging is an informal medium. Informal Blogging means writing in a casual way like face to face interaction. That means you are taking a cup of coffee with your readers & discussing about different issues. Your blog writing is a one kind of "Voice" & the readers who reads it is a one kind of "Study". So both Voice & Study have a close warm interaction.
Dont Post Complex Article
If you are a blogger you can write anything. Its upto your choice. But your single post should not be long, lengthy which gives readers bad impression. Sometimes readers leave it rather than reading.
Sometimes you have enough materials for 3 - 4 posts. But dont add all contents in a single post. Keep every post clean, unique & not so much lengthy. You must know that your blog isn't a book; it's only a blog so make it lean.
Avoid Clichés:
A cliché is a phrase that has been coined for so long & become boring. It easily makes readers to leave your site. So try to avoid difficult phrases & add lucid one.
Check Spell Before Publish Your Post
Spell checking is very important. Try to avoid common errors for example,"your" versus "you're," "their" versus "there," "principle" and "principal."
When you draft your post read it carefully again to see any odd words, grammatical error, redundancies.
Use Beautiful Text Layout
When a reader read a blog article they want to see neat & clean blog & most importantly all writing should not be in a single paragraph. Use line breaks in between paragraphs. Use bold letters to hylite, Use italic letter for emphasis.
Your goal is to draw the attention of the readers. Make your post simple & easy to read.
Use Lists
Bullet lists or numbered lists are important to attract readers. It highlights the important points.
Different Format in Different Post
Don't use same format in every post. In some posts use lists, while in other posts use narrative language. Use images in some posts, while in other posts dont use images. Just show some differance in every post.
Headline Should be Descriptive
Headline is the first impression that let readers know about the content of the post.
Keep Posting
Finally & the most important about blogging is to keep writing. Your continue writing article will give better interaction with the readers. It will also improve your writing in every post you publish.
